Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Transition Engineering Principal to provide technical leadership across the transition from the DHFCS to the EDHFCS. You will guide complex systems engineering activities, reviews and ECPs, and own high-quality outputs while supporting HOTO activities at operational sites across Australia.

You will lead technical presentations, manage risks, ensure standards are applied, and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes, safety and capability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical/engineering roles.
• Strong systems engineering experience, ideally within RF, HF or communications disciplines.
• Proficiency in applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
• Hold an accredited (under the Washington Accord) bachelor’s degree in Communications/Mechanical/Electrical/Systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex systems engineering activities, technical investigations, reviews and ECPs.
• Own high-quality technical outputs, documentation and engineering solutions; support HOTO activities across Australia.
• Lead technical presentations and formal reviews; manage technical risks and ensure standards and procedures are applied.
