Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a bright and energised Systems Engineer to join the In-Service Integrated Project Team. You will engage with stakeholders to advance submarine combat system development, certification and delivery, leveraging multidisciplinary expertise from design to verification.

Qualifications

Degree in System Engineering disciplines with related analysis and verification work.
Ability to collaborate with client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.
Knowledge of project management milestones and autonomous work delivery.
Eligible to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting 1.

Responsibilities

Support Combat System design and integration activities.
Provide engineering support for installation and set-to-work activities of Combat and Communication Systems.
Lead major reviews and verification activities with stakeholders.
Produce Design Certification against top-level system specs.
Conduct technical risk analysis and drive risk mitigation.
Mentor junior engineers in systems engineering methods and tools.
Engage with stakeholders to introduce new technologies to submarines.
