Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Australia is expanding into the Defence sector and seeks a Systems Engineer based in Adelaide to deliver engineering services across the systems engineering spectrum, both externally and internally. You will provide technical consulting, manage client relationships, and contribute to bids and proposals while applying best practice in requirements management and verification and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience deriving & eliciting requirements.
• Experience in defence/infrastructure environments.
• Experience in V&V activities and test planning.
• Proficiency with requirements tools (prefer IBM DOORS NG).

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical consultant for assignment delivery to the contractual requirements.
• Manage client relationships related to assignments.
• Implementation of systems engineering best practice to nationally important programmes.
• Add technical expertise to large, complex and strategically important bids and proposals for projects across Australia.
• Contribute to development of innovative ideas which deliver service and product growth, client satisfaction improvement or operational performance improvement and for championing the implementation of those ideas.
