Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Stakeholder / Communications Manager for a national Defence infrastructure project in Perth, WA. This role includes developing communication strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with Defence protocols.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in stakeholder engagement, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with the construction and Defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or similar (desirable).
• Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or interface management roles.
• Experience working in Defence, infrastructure, construction, or similarly regulated environments (highly regarded).
• Understanding of governance, approvals, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies targeted at key clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison between project teams, clients, and communications/marketing functions.
• Coordinate project announcements, media releases, and communication campaigns.
• Ensure communications comply with Defence protocols, contractual requirements, and confidentiality obligations.
