Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a Security Governance Lead to strengthen our security governance framework across the business, ensuring DISP obligations and broader protective security requirements are met.

You will work with Security Officers, leaders and Defence stakeholders to drive a culture of security excellence and deliver governance improvements across multiple programs and locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in security governance, compliance, assurance, risk management or protective security.
• Strong knowledge of DISP, PSPF, DSPF, ISM or similar frameworks.
• Excellent communication and ability to analyse complex information.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Security Assurance Calendar and DISP compliance activities.
• Advise on security governance requirements including DSPF, PSPF, ISM and Defence obligations.
• Conduct security assurance activities: audit prep, evidence collection, reporting.
• Identify, assess and track security risks, vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Develop and maintain protective security policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Support security reporting for leadership and Defence stakeholders.
• Improve governance tools, dashboards and reporting frameworks (SharePoint/Power BI).
• Support uplift of security maturity across organisation and supply chain.
• Contribute to operational security activities and broader Security Function priorities.
