This is a great opportunity for a driven Senior PM / Project Director to join a national organisation to manage Electrical / Comms construction teams delivering key building installations, upgrades and refurb projects $15M+ on Defence sites. This role will lead the profitable delivery of the installation of electrical and communication systems through mostly direct staff and some specialist subbies to secure Federal Government facilities.
You will ideally hold an Electrical or Construction Trade or degree and 10 years’ experience across major Defence Base or Federal Government upgrade or major projects running the full spectrum of Electrical and Data / Comms installations.
Providing a hands‑on leadership role across defence sector Electrical & Data / Comms projects, with experience identifying project commercial opportunities, supporting from preliminary project stages supporting BIM / 3D Modelling teams and Planning prior to project commencement. Thereafter managing project delivery through regular team and client interface, commercial control, implementing efficiencies and ensuring delivery timescales are met to high quality standards.
