Job summary

Eptec Defence is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead teams across Defence projects. You will deliver high-quality outcomes safely, on time, and in compliance with contract and regulatory standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating project elements, preparing plans and specifications, and supporting site supervisors and project personnel on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Asset remediation, civil construction and defence experience.
• Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of coatings, surface prep and hazardous substances; blasting/painting and concrete rehab experience desirable.
• NACE 1 or 2 certification desirable.
• Proficient MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined projects with best practice and client standards.
• Prepare project plans, Gantt charts and specs for minor projects.
• Schedule, coordinate and monitor engineering projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC, logistics, reporting, subcontractors and equipment.
• Disseminate project materials and maintain briefs, schedules and budgets.
• Interact daily with Site Supervisors and Project Managers, providing technical support.
