Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our on-site team at Lane Cove, NSW. You will take ownership of key procurement responsibilities for defence projects and collaborate with international colleagues to deliver results.

Processing requisitions to POs, onboarding suppliers to ARIBA, and liaising with internal stakeholders are core duties. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in procurement, SAP experience, and strong commercial acumen; NV1 clearance and Australian

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in procurement/purchasing to pay environment.
Experience navigating SAP for purchasing and reporting responsibilities.
Procurement credentials and experience with ARIBA or similar system.
Strong commercial/business acumen and ability to negotiate terms and agreements.
Proven ability to work within tight deadlines in a complex environment.
Government/defence/aerospace sector experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Process purchase requisitions through to purchase orders and onboard suppliers to ARIBA.
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
Source materials and services while reviewing market pricing structures.
Communicate professionally with stakeholders and prioritise work in time-sensitive environments.
Analyse root causes to enable issue resolution and support continuous improvement and KPI reporting.
Model company values and comply with policies and governance.
