Compass Group Pty Limited is hiring a Lifeguard for the ESS team at Holsworthy Barracks. This casual role pay rate is $29.00+ casual loading (approx $36.25 per hour).

You’ll oversee pool operations, ensure water quality, safety, and compliance, supervise users, maintain lifeguard coverage, and respond to emergencies with first aid and oxygen as needed. Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Award (for aquatic roles).
• Working with Children Check.
• Level 1 First Aid & CPR, with ability to administer oxygen.
• Australian Citizenship is mandatory (Defence security clearance required).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pool operations; ensure water safety and compliance.
• Supervise facility users and maintain lifeguard coverage.
• Support fitness and aquatic area safety standards.
• Conduct gym inductions and assist facility users.
• Respond to emergencies; provide first aid and oxygen when needed.
• Report hazards and incidents promptly.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork and professionalism.
