Job summary

CAE Defence & Security in Australia seeks an Operations Manager - Non ASIST Platforms to lead service delivery across Defence sustainment and training programs. You will be the primary interface with customers, drive outcomes, and ensure safety, quality, schedule, cost and risk targets are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project, program and customer management.
• 3-5 years working with Defence customers including Commonwealth of Australia and OEMs.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Experience managing risk in line with ISO 31000 or equivalent frameworks.
• Willingness to travel and engage with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance and work across Defence sites in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Lead service delivery across Defence sustainment and training programs, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the main point of contact for operational matters.
• Oversee training centre operations with maintenance, engineering and training teams to meet performance objectives.
• Manage operational governance including reporting, risk management, KPIs and customer deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and quality requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage program budgets, revenue performance and operational planning to support contract outcomes.
