Qualifications

• Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain Australian Defence Clearance.
• Certification as a trade-qualified Fitter and Turner is mandatory.
• Current Drivers Licence (C Class) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on specialist Defence equipment including military armaments.
• Examine specifications to determine job requirements.
• Operate machines for producing parts or tools.
• Check quality of finished parts and assemble as needed.
• Provide technical advice to equipment operators.
• Repair and maintain miscellaneous equipment including small engines.

Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner

Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Clearance

C Class Drivers Licence

Certificate III in Fitting and Turning
