Job summary

KBR is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Systems Modeller to drive modelling and simulation activities within its Digital Engineering strategy for Defence programs. The role focuses on MBSE architectures, mission engineering, and integration across lifecycle stages using SysML/UML tools, with an emphasis on secure, compliant design.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in digital systems design, strong MBSE skills, and eligibility for NV1 security clearance, joining a team delivering complex

Qualifications

• Must have MBSE experience and be proficient with SysML/UML.
• Strong system-architecture capability, especially for defence/regulated environments.
• Eligibility for Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 or higher) is required.

Responsibilities

• Capture and model concepts, requirements and designs for complex Defence programs.
• Perform Mission Engineering using mission threads and scenarios.
• Develop and sustain MBSE architectures using tools such as SysML/UML and MBSE tooling.
• Ensure integration and traceability across lifecycle phases from requirements to verification.
• Contribute to Digital Engineering Infrastructure and Systems Integration Laboratory.
