Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support a major Defence program in a secure, governed environment. The role involves development, enhancement and sustainment of Defence applications across legacy systems and batch processing environments.

You will work with COBOL, DB2/SQL and potentially C# or C++ in a hybrid, multi-location setting in Australia, with a focus on delivering reliable solutions and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong mainframe development experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL is essential.
