Job summary

Toll Government & Defence is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our warehouse team at Moorebank Military Area, supporting Defence logistics. The role involves receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of Defence inventory in a secure environment, with a strong safety focus.

Australian citizenship is essential and the successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. LF forklift licence preferred, but not essential, and experience with WMS is valued.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
• Previous warehouse, logistics or storeperson experience.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Sound knowledge of inventory control and stock management processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE).
• Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods.
• Picking, packing and dispatching freight and inventory.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Conducting stock control and inventory management activities.
• Supporting loading and unloading operations.
• Following Defence, safety and operational compliance requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Working collaboratively with your team to meet operational deadlines.
