Job summary

Jacobs seeks an ICT Infrastructure Designer to deliver complex ICT infrastructure designs for Defence and Federal Government projects. Based in Brisbane or Sydney, you will guide designs from master planning to construction documentation and provide technical support through construction.

You will engage ICT stakeholders, translate requirements, and ensure designs are coordinated, fit for purpose and aligned with Defence standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology or Telecommunications Engineering qualification or 10+ years relevant telecommunications infrastructure design experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with Defence, Government, major construction or infrastructure projects as a consultant.
• Confident verbal communicator in client-facing environments, excellent written communication skills and an ability to engage successfully across broad and complex stakeholder groups.
• CAD and / or BIM experience preferred and will be viewed as advantageous.
