Job summary

Raytheon Australia seeks an ICT Field Technician to support Mawson Lakes and Woomera Test Range. The role focuses on administering RHEL and Windows Server, configuring networks, and providing domain user support while coordinating with engineering teams and travelling as required to fulfil program needs.

The position requires a Certificate III in IT or related field, 3+ years post-qualification experience, Linux CLI, CISCO devices, and familiarity with cyber security principles.

Qualifications

• Requires a Certificate III in Information Technology, Electronics/ Telecommunications or similar qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant post-qualification experience required.
• Experience administering virtualised operating environments.
• Experience with Linux Command Line Interface.
• Experience with CISCO network devices.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools e.g. WireShark (desirable).
• Familiarity with the ISM, PSPF and understanding of basic Cyber Security principles (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Administration and support of both Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of complex network environments.
• Domain user support with a focus on high system availability.
• Liaison with engineering staff in the conduct of engineering and maintenance services and activities for the customer.
• Undertake travel as required, both within Australia and internationally, to fulfil the requirements of this role.
