Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced ICT and Cyber Security Engineer to support the Australian Over-the-Horizon Radar export program. You will contribute to design governance, security assurance, and integration across Defence and Canadian partners, enabling secure, reliable ICT solutions.

Reporting to the Program Engineering Manager, you will develop SRMPs, C&A artefacts and assurance evidence while coordinating with Defence stakeholders and IPTs to ensure compliant, safe transition into service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Cyber Security or related field.
• Eligibility to access ITAR controlled information.
• Minimum five years in ICT, Systems Engineering or Cyber Security.
• Experience in ICT systems and cyber security in a complex technical environment.
• Experience developing SRMPs, C&A documentation, or related assurance artefacts.
• Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles, risk management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance, design assurance and technical oversight of ICT systems and Cyber Security activities across the A-OTHR Export Program.
• Review ICT designs to ensure Defence security, technical and operational requirements are met.
• Support Cyber Security risk management, including threat, vulnerability and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain security documentation (SRMPs, C&A artefacts, assurance evidence).
• Support V&V activities to ensure ICT systems meet requirements.
• Collaborate with IPTs, Defence stakeholders, industry partners and SMEs on integrated solutions.
• Liaise with DND to support ICT and Cyber Security requirements for the export program.
• Support technical reviews, engineering change activities and risk assessments.
• Provide engineering support for transitioning ICT capabilities into sustainment.
• Contribute specialist expertise across ICT, Cyber Security, Systems Engineering and assurance.
