Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Woomera, South Australia, is seeking an hands-on Operations Manager to run Defence fuel facilities. You’ll oversee day-to-day activities, ensure safe receipt, storage, testing and transfer of fuel, and coordinate movements across the site.

This full-time residential role includes housing and utilities, offering a stable Defence contract with ownership and decision-making authority. You’ll operate largely independently but be supported by operators and supervisors within the

Qualifications

• Strong focus on safety and operational compliance.
• Ability to build relationships with teams, contractors and customers.
• Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to getting things done.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Defence clearance.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of Defence fuel facilities in Woomera.
• Accept fuel deliveries and perform quality testing.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate fuel movements across site.
• Maintain safe, compliant operations with minimal supervision.
