Job summary

ICD Financial Advisory Services in Canberra requires a Financial Advisor to provide cost estimation, financial analysis and management support to progress programs through required approval pathways and delivery paths.

The Financial Advisor will operate with a high degree of autonomy, undertaking complex estimation, analysis, and assurance tasks to support whole-of-life costs, submissions and briefs for Defence resources. Onsite work at Brindabella Business Park is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cost estimation and financial analysis for complex programs.
• Experience providing submissions, affordability reports and briefs.
• Ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Manage costs of complex projects and track/report program costs.
• Prepare cost estimates with factors in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
• Support whole-of-life cost assessments, interdependencies and relationships across projects.
• Provide cost estimation and financial analysis to support decision-making and approvals.
• Apply risk-adjusted cost estimation principles where appropriate.
• Collaborate within a team to achieve project outcomes and develop staff.
• Utilize approved software and tools for cost estimation and analysis.
