Job summary

Service Stream is expanding its Defence division in South Australia, with permanent full-time electricians joining key sites including Edinburgh, Keswick and Woomera. You will maintain and repair electrical systems across Defence facilities, ensuring safety, compliance and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in electrical maintenance and repair in Defence or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and repair techniques.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems across Defence facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues promptly.
• Install, test and commission new electrical systems as required.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document changes.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize disruption.
• Assist in preventive maintenance program development.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and perform timely repairs.
• Participate in training to stay updated with industry standards.
