Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking an experienced Principal Systems & Cyber Security Specialist to shape the cyber security posture of key Defence capabilities. You will provide expert leadership across a diverse portfolio and translate complex requirements into artefacts and assurance activities to achieve Defence authorisation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cyber security or systems engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of PSPF, DSPF and ACSC ISM.
• Experience leading CSAA activities and creating security artefacts (SSPs, SRMPs, IRPs, CMPs, SAPs, POAMs).
• GRC principles applied within complex programs and environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical risks into actionable guidance for engineering, program and customers.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with Defence customers and authorities.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, SABSA or IRAP Assessor experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent written security documentation and artefacts creation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted cyber security advisor to internal program teams and Defence stakeholders.
• Influence system and solution design to achieve secure-by-design outcomes.
• Lead CSAA activities across Defence programs.
• Partner with systems engineering to integrate security requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and assurance artefacts for Defence authorisation.
• Drive GRC outcomes in line with Defence frameworks and program requirements.
• Lead cyber security risk management and provide trusted risk advice to leadership.
• Provide SME on PSPF, ISM and DSPF.
• Engage with Defence stakeholders and authorisation authorities to progress security authorisation.
• Support business development, bid and capture with cyber security guidance.
• Mentor security practitioners across the business.
