Eolas Solutions is seeking an early to mid-career Defence professional for an immediate start in Canberra. The role suits someone with practical Defence experience and the ability to write and prepare documents for senior Defence leaders.

Applicants should have 2–5 years’ Defence experience, a relevant bachelor degree, and experience in project management or business analysis. NV1 clearance and face-to-face work in Canberra are mandatory.

Defence Professional | Early to Mid-Career | Canberra | IMMEDIATE START

$120,000 to $150,000 p.a. including superannuation

Face-to-face at Russell Offices, Canberra. No remote work.

Current NV1 clearance and Defence experience mandatory

We’re looking for an early to mid-career Defence professional to join Eolas for an immediate start.

This Defence consulting role would suit a project manager or business analyst who combines practical Defence experience with skills in strategic writing and document preparation.

What we’re looking for:

• Around two to five years’ experience working in Defence, or more.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Project management or business analysis experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare briefs, papers and other documents for senior Defence leaders with limited supervision.
• The ability to research an issue, engage stakeholders and turn complex information into clear advice.

The work will involve research, writing, document preparation, stakeholder consultation, facilitation and coordination. You will need to understand Defence and combine analysis with the ability to produce documents that support decisions.

About Eolas

Eolas has grown from one person to 28 over the past two and a half years. Six new team members have joined since July.
