Job summary

Serco is seeking a BioMedical Technician based in Moorebank, NSW, to diagnose, repair and maintain medical and dental equipment across Defence healthcare logistics. You will work with biomedical engineers, electricians and field teams to keep critical equipment serviceable and supported by the Capacity Planning team.

This hands-on role requires strong diagnostic skills and collaboration with Defence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronics, biomedical or field service.
• Ability to read schematics and OEM documentation.
• Knowledge of OEM operations and warranty programmes.
• Ability to coordinate with planning and procurement for parts.
• Eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect and repair medical and dental equipment.
• Perform electrical testing and tagging per Australian Standards.
• Prioritise maintenance with Capacity Planning.
• Coordinate with planning and procurement to ensure parts availability.
• Manage spare-parts MIN/MAX with Defence stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in equipment availability and inventory accuracy.
• Support quality, WHS and compliance across the MDESS contract.
• Build relationships with Defence stakeholders.
