Job summary

DW Fox Tucker Lawyers is seeking a Finance Officer to join our finance team in Adelaide. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and CEO, supporting all aspects of the firm’s debt recovery process. The role can be full-time or part-time, offering flexibility and exposure to a busy commercial practice.

Key duties include AR processing, debtor communications, developing recovery strategies, and producing monthly statements and letters of demand for timely collection and reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet deliverables.
• High level organisation and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• A strong commitment to a team culture and performance.
• Legal firm experience preferred (not essential)

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable process in line with the firm’s credit policy.
• Collection calls/communication to a variety of debtors via phone and email.
• Develop strategies with the Finance Manager to ensure recovery of debts.
• Producing monthly debtor statements and letters of demand.
• Producing monthly reports to the Finance Manager on debtors.
