Job summary

Qualifications

• Highly developed organisational, administrative and time management skills.

• Experience coordinating events, programs or activities involving students and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all debating administration, communications and competition arrangements.
• Manage student trials, team allocations and competition entries.
• Organise home debates, including venues, catering and room set-up.
• Attend debates trials, weekly competitions and finals.
• Liaise with parents, students, coaches, external schools and debating associations.
• Organise in-house competitions, including the RDS Challenge Cup.
• Manage adjudication, results, records and competition paperwork.
• Attend relevant internal and external debating meetings.
• Coordinate debating awards and colours with the Coordinator of Voice.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and child protection requirements.
