PwC Deals advisors create, realise and protect value when advising on mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or operating in a crisis. We work with domestic, outbound and inbound businesses to raise capital and complete acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic alliances. Whether responding to performance pressure from the market or preparing for growth, we help clients from a variety of sectors across the entire deal lifecycle.

Deals offer opportunities across our Australian offices, with roles ranging from Senior Consultant through to Director levels. Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding our clients unique needs as a trusted advisor
  • Assist our clients to achieve greater efficiency and solve their organisational problems & challenges
  • Helping clients make better business decisions based on qualitative and quantitative analysis, by providing commercial insights and technical expertise, backing up your point of view with well-articulated, rigorous and reasoned analysis
  • Adopting emerging technologies into the way you work. We have innovative tools across our business, enhancing the client experience on engagements as well as providing you with access to opportunities to continue developing your digital IQ and capabilities.
  • Leveraging our integrated offering and increasing your brand eminence across Deals
  • Coordinating with key project stakeholders including clients and other internal team members in the Deals team facilitating solutions for businesses
  • Conducting sector research and assisting with the development of thought leadership
  • Coaching and developing junior colleagues


Requirements

  • Professional qualifications in business, finance, technology, law or similar
  • Postgraduate academic qualifications such as a MBA or a Masters is highly regarded
  • Background in a consulting or corporate client-facing environment
  • Commercially focused and skilled in areas such as technology operations, financial due diligence, IT due diligence, operational due diligence, IT strategy, separation, carve outs, corporate M&A strategy, management consulting and strategy consulting
  • Ability to handle multiple and varied projects simultaneously
  • Good understanding of the Australian market with exposure to mergers & acquisitions, business plan review, value creation, market assessment, business operations and technology operations
  • Experienced in producing reports to assist in decision making
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with excellent business writing and excel skills

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 85,700.00 including superannuation. Manager/Senior Manager/Director positions will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.

A candidate’s final salary will be determined based on the skills and experience that the candidate brings
