About the role

The role of a team member plays a key role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers. Primary Connect is constantly changing to meet business demands. This position requires a strong sense of teamwork and focus on safety to ensure that the goods are dispatched in a timely manner. Your commitment and alignment to advocacy for our purpose of "connecting communities with the products they need and love" will help drive the success of the DC.

What you’ll do

  • Pick orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work with voice picking technology
  • Assemble and packaging stock appropriately for despatch
  • Capacity to work in a physically demanding role to meet replenishment targets
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
  • Work with Team Members to optimise warehouse processes and improve efficiency
  • Adhere to all company and safety policies, protocols and guidelines

What you’ll bring

  • The ability to repetitively lift and handle items up to 16 kg
  • A strong attention to detail
  • The ability to understand and interpret audio instructions
  • Be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous pick / packer experience will be highly regarded
  • The ability to pass a Police Check and physical assessment and
  • Be comfortable learning how to use various warehouse equipment
