Job summary

Nowra Private Hospital, part of Ramsay Health Care, is seeking casual Registered Nurses to join our Recovery and Day Surgery Unit. Recent perioperative or day surgery experience and current AHPRA registration are essential. You will fit in with our ethos of excellent care and work in a fast-paced environment.

You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care with guidance from the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders, ensuring a high level of quality care.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Recent experience in a surgical / acute medical ward
• Perioperative or day surgery experience preferred
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care in Recovery and Day Surgery Unit
• Provide care under supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders
