Job summary

Superior Formulations is seeking a Day Shift Line Setter / Machine Operator to set up, run, and maintain production lines in a regulated nutraceuticals facility in Melbourne. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure lines run efficiently while meeting quality standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, adherence to GMP/HACCP, and the ability to follow SOPs and batch records with accuracy.

Qualifications

High mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability to fix and adjust production machinery.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve faults quickly.
Strong focus on quality, hygiene, GMP/HACCP in manufacturing.
Ability to read job sheets, SOPs, and batch records accurately.
Good written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and change over production lines and machinery per job sheets and batch records.
Operate production equipment safely to meet output and quality targets.
Diagnose mechanical and pneumatic faults, escalating electrical issues to trades when needed.
Carry out repairs and adjustments to minimise downtime and return lines to production.
Perform preventative maintenance and document all activities.
Conduct in-process checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Ensure all materials are QC approved before production.
Record faults and maintenance activities and complete required documentation on time.
