Job summary

Autex Australia is seeking an experienced Large Format Printer Operator to join our production team on a full-time basis. Based at our Yatala facility, you will operate state-of-the-art UV flatbed printers to produce high-end printed products, with additional print processing skills preferred.

You will maintain printers, prepare artwork, meet schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards in a modern, well-equipped environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• The ability to read, understand and follow Safe Operating Procedures
• The ability to carry out repetitive production tasks accurately and consistently
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, OH&S procedures and company policies
• A punctual, responsible and reliable approach to work
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills and assist with a variety of production tasks
• Previous print processing experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the use and maintenance of 2 x large format printers.
• Preparing and checking supplied artwork and files for print when required
• Communicating with management regarding artwork requirements, production schedules and installation timelines
• Maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the production process
• Following established production and safety procedures
