Job summary

James Hardie Laverton North in Victoria is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support day-to-day dispatch operations in the warehouse. You will prepare and process customer orders, monitor stock levels, and maintain inventory records to ensure smooth goods flow.

The role requires forklift responsibility, a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to perform manual handling up to 20 kg. A commitment to zero harm and safe practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform manual handling up to 20 kg.
• Ability to load products onto trucks and assist with stock checks.
• Commitment to safety and zero harm in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Pre-start exercises prior to work commencing each day.
• Forklift pre-start checklist daily.
• Putting stock away (palletized and non-palletized product).
• Stacking accessories onto shelves and housekeeping duties.
• Clear debris and maintain clean and safe areas.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Perform manual laboring around the plant as required.
• Manual handling of up to 20 kg.
• Loading products onto trucks for customer deliveries.
• Receiving and checking customer purchase requests.
• Filling out dockets and confirming completion of orders.
• Sorting through damaged stocks and strapping of packs for transport.
• Any adhoc duties as required.
