Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking enthusiastic Day Crew members to join our team in Brisbane. As part of our culture, you'll be on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, and assisting with food preparation.

The role offers flexible work hours, team-building activities, and a fun environment celebrating Mexican culture. Experience is great, but a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn are key!

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or fast-paced environments is beneficial but not essential.
• Open to coaching and ready to learn.
• Reliable and follows through on tasks.

Job Description

Our Day Crew members are the life blood of GYG, you will be available either early mornings and during school hours or until later in the evenings. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential
• You’re open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
