Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen in Arana Hills, Queensland, is hiring crew to support daytime operations in a fast-paced environment. Shifts run from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays, with school-hour availability noted as not suitable for students.

You will greet customers, take orders, roll burritos, restock fridges, perform basic food prep, wipe tables and learn other roles across the team. Experience helps but isn’t essential; a can‑do attitude and reliability are valued, with coaching provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or fast-paced environments preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and be coached.
• Positive 'can do' attitude and reliable.

Responsibilities

GYG Arana Hills want you to join our superstar hospitality crew!

We are looking for crew that can support our day time operations with flexible shifts ranging between the hours of 6:00am and 5pm on weekdays. Please note we are looking for crew who are able to work during school hours so this role is not suitable for school students.

Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential


• You’re open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort


• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
