Job summary

Quayclean in Australia is seeking a Full-time Day Cleaner to support a leading private school in Coomera. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, maintaining a clean, safe environment across school grounds and facilities.

You will take ownership of your areas, work with the client and team, perform indoor and outdoor duties including leaf blowing and operating a cleaning buggy, and uphold high standards of service while communicating professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in school/commercial environments.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
• Proactive, takes ownership of own area.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Willing to work outdoors and comply with safety standards.
• Current driver’s license essential.
• Eligibility to work in Australia; WWCC and Police Check and Working With Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning across school facilities and grounds.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Operate leaf blower 1–2 hours each morning.
• Drive cleaning buggy during school hours.
• Identify areas needing attention and address them.
• Communicate professionally with client and team.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Full-time Day Cleaner to support cleaning operations at a leading private school in Coomera.

This role involves Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm shifts, helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented environment across the school grounds and facilities.

You will take ownership of your areas, work proactively to identify what needs attention, and work closely with both the school client and the wider Quayclean team. This role includes indoor and outdoor duties, including approximately 1–2 hours of leaf blowing each morning and operating a cleaning buggy around the school grounds.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing daily cleaning duties across school facilities and grounds
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
• Completing approximately 1–2 hours of leaf blowing each morning
• Driving a cleaning buggy around the school grounds during school hours
• Identifying areas requiring attention and proactively addressing them
• Communicating professionally with the school client and Quayclean team
• Working independently while supporting the wider cleaning team
• Maintaining safe work practices and high standards of service delivery
