Job summary

Azooa is seeking an experienced Datacentre Lead to manage a small technical team in Symonston, Canberra, delivering hands-on infrastructure engineering, integration and support in secured enterprise environments.

You will lead installation, configuration and operation of datacentre environments, oversee Windows Server and Red Hat systems, virtualization, storage, and network security, while reporting to stakeholders and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Over ten years in datacentre infrastructure or related ICT field.
• Advanced virtualization, software-defined networking, and enterprise storage.
• Experience with monitoring, logs, containers or cloud-native infra.
• Vendor certifications or tertiary qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a datacentre infrastructure team, set priorities and report progress.
• Oversee installation and operation of enterprise datacentre environments.
• Administer Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Manage virtualization and shared storage integration with compute.
• Contribute to networking, segmentation and security controls.
• Plan capacity, patching and security maintenance.
• Review designs and advise on integration and risks.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and investigate faults.
• Create and maintain design documents and runbooks.
• Deliver training and mentor staff; communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead admin, integration and sustainment of complex environments.
• Hands-on administration and troubleshooting.
