Job summary

Defence Australia is seeking a senior ICT engineer to lead the administration, integration and sustainment of complex enterprise datacentre environments in ACT. The role requires expertise in VMware vSphere, NSX, Windows Server, RHEL, storage platforms and secure network design.

You will coordinate with ICT personnel, security stakeholders and leadership to deliver secure, integrated services. Experience with cloud-native infra (OpenShift/OpenStack), Splunk logging, and Horizon VDI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading the administration, integration and sustainment of complex enterprise datacentre environments.
• Experience installing, configuring and administering Windows Server and RHEL environments.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and infrastructure services within secured ICT environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support for datacentre technologies.
• Act as senior technical lead and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain system design docs and SOPs.
