Job summary

Enosi is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the DevOps team. You will rotate through infrastructure, observability, and software domains, contributing to Powertracer frontend and backend features.

Ideal candidates hold a software-related degree, show project work beyond coursework, and have 1–2 years of experience. Remote work is supported with collaboration via Slack and Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• You’ve completed your degree or coursework in software engineering or related field
• You’ve shown your interest in your career path through personal projects that go beyond the requirements of your education program
• You may have some professional software engineering experience, between one and two years
• You understand the importance of maintaining source code, in particular using git repositories (we’re a Github team)
• You are aware of the software development life cycle, particularly in a culture of continuous deployment (we love Buildkite)
• You understand the importance of clear documentation, and are willing to contribute to it
• You’ve had experience working with cloud service providers (we use AWS)
• You’ve learnt a little about Terraform, Go, React and GraphQL
• You’ve spent time with Jira and Confluence products
• You’re comfortable working remotely, communicating primarily over Slack (chat, voice and video)

Responsibilities

• Introduce new React components to Powertracer frontend
• Own the introduction of new API features in our microservices
• Integrate API features from microservices via GraphQL for frontend presentation
• Refine observability capabilities across all services including frontend
• Refactor Terraform modules used in deployment of infrastructure and applications
