Job summary

Enosi is seeking an Associate Engineer to rotate through infrastructure and observability engineering and software roles. You will craft frontend components with React, contribute to API features in microservices, and integrate through GraphQL interfaces for display in the frontend.

We value candidates with a degree in software or related fields, some professional experience, and a passion for Go, Terraform and AWS.

Qualifications

• You’ve completed your degree in a software related field or equivalent coursework.
• You’ve shown interest through personal projects beyond your degree requirements.
• You may have 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• You understand source control with git (we are a GitHub team).
• You know the software development lifecycle and continuous deployment practices.
• You value clear documentation and knowledge sharing.
• You have some experience with cloud providers (AWS in our stack).
• You’ve learned about Terraform and how it helps manage infrastructure.
• You’ve learnt Go, and how it applies to serverless and container solutions.
• You’ve studied React and GraphQL, and perhaps built projects with them.
• You’ve spent time with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend components using React for Powertracer frontend.
• Contribute to new API features in our microservices.
• Integrate API features from microservices via GraphQL for frontend display.
• Improve observability across services including frontend.
• Refactor Terraform modules used for deployment of infrastructure and apps.
