Barings is seeking a junior Database Analyst to support ABF Australia's data operations. You will maintain SQL architecture, run daily/monthly processes, and help design and enhance database systems.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, collaboration with the Research and Data team, and delivering robust reporting solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, with strong SQL Server expertise and Advanced SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Strong experience with SQL Server including database design, optimization, tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills; experience with VBA, DAX, and Python is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and enhancing ABF Australia's existing SQL database architecture.
• Executing daily and monthly processes critical to portfolio surveillance and investment decisions.
• Developing and improving data processing and reporting solutions using SQL, VBA, Python, and DAX.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate collection of data each day.
• Advising on and implementing the best methods to query and extract data for management and client reporting.
• Providing database troubleshooting, bug fixing, and problem resolution.
• Producing and maintaining comprehensive database system documentation.
• Working closely and collaboratively with the Research and Data team.
