Accenture is seeking a Database Administrator to operate and optimize SQL Server, PostgreSQL and AWS RDS environments in a high-demand, global services setting. You will ensure availability, backup/recovery, and security while supporting incident management and cloud modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance.
• Experience managing SQL Server and PostgreSQL in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ability to automate routine operational tasks using scripts and IaC tools.
• Knowledge of AWS services (RDS, IAM) and monitoring (CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release).
• Strong troubleshooting, capacity planning and performance tuning skills.

The DBA is responsible for the operational management, security, performance, resilience and continuous improvement of database platforms supporting critical services.
