Job summary

Xpt Software Australia Pty is seeking a Database Administrator / Data Analyst to support maintenance analysis and reporting tools. You will ensure database availability, perform routine backups, and monitor data integration between source systems and the data lake environment.

The role requires hands-on SQL Server administration (2014/2019), SSIS/SSRS, and strong SQL scripting skills, with an emphasis on data quality and governance for government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration (2014/2019) including SSIS and SSRS.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting for data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of Incident and Problem Management within a secure, multi-vendor environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain system databases for legacy and modern environments (SQL 2014 and 2019).
• Monitor data integration success and remediate failures between source systems using SQL transactional replication.
• Maintain data structure and quality within the application suite, ensuring data is ready for future migration.

Mandatory Requirements
