Job summary

Australian Competition and Consumer Commission seeks an Assistant Director, Data Developer (EL1) to lead a team delivering innovative data solutions and cloud platforms that identify, disrupt and prevent scams affecting Australian consumers. The role focuses on ETL, data warehousing, data lake, analytics and data visualisation in Azure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical solutions and drive continual improvement while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced, complex organisation.
• At least 5+ years of experience in data development.
• Experience in user needs analysis, requirements documentation, design and development of software solutions, testing and support.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and designing data integration tailored to business needs.
• Experience with Azure cloud data services including ADLS, SQL DB, Synapse and blob storage.
• Development experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI (stored procedures, DAX, functions, views).
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub and Azure Log Analytics.
