Job summary

ACCC is seeking an experienced Assitant Director, Data Developer to lead a team delivering advanced data workflows, ETL processes, data warehouses and analytics in a cloud environment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS and Power BI, ensuring high-quality outcomes. The role offers flexible work arrangements across Australia and a competitive EL1 salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of data development experience.
• Experience leading a team in a large, complex organisation.
• Proven ability to analyse user needs and design fit-for-purpose software solutions.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and delivering scalable data solutions.
• Experience with Azure cloud data services including ADLS, SQL DB, Synapse and blob storage.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals, role modelling leadership behaviours and coaching.
• Design and develop data workflows, ETL processes, data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver software solutions that address business needs.
• Lead delivery of software features with high-quality outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and code quality through technical advice.
