Job summary

Department of Transport and Planning is seeking a Data Sharing Advisor to manage relationships with agencies and customers, review audit requests, and ensure data-sharing activities meet standards. The role involves regular communication, problem-solving, and timely responses to stakeholders.

You will support the Operations Manager, help improve workflows, and contribute to a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace while handling sensitive data with care.

About The Role

The Data Sharing Advisor supports the team to manage relationships with other agencies, customers and key data-related contracts. They receive, review and manage audit requests, making sure each request is handled accurately, professionally and within required timeframes. The role involves regular communication with customers and stakeholders, responding to questions, resolving issues and escalating matters when needed. The Advisor also supports the Operations Manager and contributes ideas to improve ways of working. Success in the role helps ensure requests are managed smoothly, customers receive a professional service, and data-sharing activities meet required standards and processes.

Fixed Term Position until 13/08/2027

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience working with data sharing arrangements (desirable)

Other Position-specific Requirements

• Demonstrable experience assisting in the management of ongoing project and contract work
• Ability to manage and triage incoming requests from stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
• Developed organizational and analytical experience that can be applied to the management and review of a significant number of audit documentation received annually from Stakeholders.
