Job summary

Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) is seeking a Cyber Security Data Specialist to lead the design, implementation and ongoing operation of data security solutions across AGIG. You will partner with technology teams, data owners and the Legal/Privacy team to strengthen governance, monitoring and assurance of data protection.

Reporting to the Senior Cyber Security Defence & Identity Manager within Finance & Technology, you will develop effective security controls, monitor risk, and support

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and managing DLP technologies and data security controls.
• Experience in regulated environments with governance and compliance.
• Ability to analyse evidence, articulate risk impacts, and elevate concerns to support informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead DSPM design, implementation, and operation with technology providers to improve platforms, risk detection, and controls.
• Monitor threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices; recommend and implement improvements to strengthen data protection.
• Review data classification with data owners and ensure regulatory alignment with AGIG standards.
