Job summary

ATNIS PTY LTD, based in Sydney, NSW, is recruiting a Data Scientist to lead AI capabilities and support client engagements across cybersecurity, cloud and network infrastructure. The role starts in December 2026 and is on-site.

You will design, build and run AI/ML solutions, manage data pipelines on Azure and Databricks, and communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while upholding data governance and security.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of commercial data science or ML production experience.
• Experience building large language model solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings and agent-based workflows.
• Strong Python and SQL programming with ML libraries.
• Hands-on with Azure and Databricks data pipelines and model deployment.
• Ability to present analytical results to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run AI/ML solutions to improve service delivery.
• Translate client engagements into testable hypotheses and objectives.
• Create dashboards and visualisations for stakeholders.
• Develop production-grade data and model pipelines on cloud platforms like Azure and Databricks.
• Monitor model performance, drift and governance; ensure security and compliance.
