Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in data science or advanced analytics roles.
• Experience with Python or R for modelling in large data sets.
• Strong SQL skills for working with relational data.
• Experience in supervised and unsupervised modelling, including anomaly detection.
• Ability to validate models and monitor performance.
• Experience presenting analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with handling sensitive or personal information.
• Knowledge of cloud analytics platforms such as Azure ML, Databricks or SAS Viya.
• Experience with data linkage and de-identified data sets.

The work is likely to require building statistical and machine learning models on large administrative, claims and service data sets, detecting fraud, non-compliance and risk, and turning results into reports and tools for program and compliance teams.

Required Experience

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must hold a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)
