Job summary

Medibank is seeking a Data Science Analyst to uncover customer insights, build predictive models and deliver data-driven solutions that improve customer and commercial outcomes. Reporting to the Senior AI Initiatives Manager, this 12-month fixed-term role will involve advanced analytics, ML, and experimentation using modern cloud technologies.

You will develop predictive models for retention/acquisition, analyse customer behaviour, design experiments, and deploy ML models with Python on AWS

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related quantitative field.
2–3+ years' experience in data science/advanced analytics or similar roles.
Strong hands-on experience building predictive/statistical models using Python.
Experience applying data-driven insights to support commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop predictive models to support customer retention, acquisition, cross-sell and engagement initiatives.
Analyse customer behaviour, digital interactions and product performance to identify actionable insights.
Design and execute experiments to test and optimise outcomes.
Build, optimise and deploy machine learning/statistical models using Python and cloud services.
