Job summary

Angle Finance is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will design, develop and maintain scalable reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and reducing manual effort.

The role focuses on automation, data quality and governance, partnering with business teams to transform complex data into meaningful dashboards. Hybrid working is available and you will contribute to continuous improvement across data

Qualifications

• Experience in a data analytics, reporting or business intelligence / data analyst role.
• Advanced SQL skills including query writing, data manipulation and performance optimisation.
• Strong Power BI development experience including: Data modelling DAX measures Power Query
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting and operational processes.
• Design automated data workflows and reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI.
• Reduce reliance on spreadsheets and manual intervention through scalable reporting frameworks.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI, with a strong focus on reducing manual effort, strengthening data quality and governance, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. Working within a fast-paced financial services environment, the successful candidate will partner with business and operational teams to transform complex data into meaningful reporting and dashboards, while identifying opportunities to streamline and automate existing processes.

You will:
