About the role

Reporting & Data Quality Analyst As our Reporting & Data Quality Analyst, you’ll play a key role in unlocking the value of C&I data, turning complex information into meaningful insights that support better decisions for our people and customers. You’ll develop robust reporting solutions, uncover actionable insights and help strengthen data quality and data-driven decision making across the business. Strong SQL and Power BI capabilities are essential, as you’ll use your technical expertise to transform data into clear, accurate and valuable business insights.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Design, develop and maintain automated Power BI dashboards and reporting, using advanced SQL, data models and pipelines to deliver accurate, timely and high-performing data solutions.
  • Turn complex data into actionable insights, supporting C&I growth, operational efficiency and commercial opportunities across strategy, sales, pricing, customer and operations.
  • Own data quality and integrity, proactively identifying and resolving issues through data audits, cleansing, validation, controls and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions, using clear visualisations and data storytelling to communicate insights and enable greater self-service analytics.
  • Manage contractual and regulatory reporting obligations across the C&I customer base, maintaining robust reporting processes, documentation and data governance.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of delivery, balancing competing priorities, collaborating early with stakeholders, constructively challenging assumptions and maintaining a strong focus on quality and outcomes.
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in a data, reporting or analytics role, ideally within energy, utilities or another complex environment.
  • Strong SQL expertise, including joins, CTEs, performance optimisation and data modelling.
  • Advanced Power BI capability, with experience developing high-quality dashboards using DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality reporting and analysis.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver effectively within tight timeframes.

Ready to turn data into insights that make a difference? If you’re passionate about data, enjoy solving complex problems and want to help shape better business and customer outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
